Road Safety Measures: The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is operating under a Level Two response to tackle concerns about black ice and hazardous road conditions. Their efforts include:
- Deploying 26 brine trucks, 13 salt spreaders, six snowplows, and two brine stations.
- Utilizing 420 tons of salt and 25,000 gallons of brine to treat roadways.

Power Restorations: Georgia Power crews have restored electricity to over 340,000 customers across the state after trees and power lines were damaged during the storm. Teams worked through the night to repair infrastructure and bring power back to thousands still affected.
Governor Brian Kemp thanked residents for staying off the roads, allowing crews to clear streets and make necessary repairs. "A big thank you to our first responders, law enforcement, DOT workers, and linemen for their hard work during this storm," Kemp said. Public Transit Updates
- MARTA has resumed regular train service, mobility service, and bus service on the following routes: 5, 6, 8, 15, 19, 39, 40, 51, 60, 73, 78, 83, 89, 94, 95, 107, 110, 111, 117, 121, 123, 153, 172, 181, 186, 191, 193, 194 and 196.
- Streetcar service will resume as road conditions improve.
- Ride Gwinnett has suspended all services today, including local, micro-transit, and paratransit. Services are expected to resume tomorrow.

- The Atlanta Botanical Garden and Zoo Atlanta are closed during the day but plan to open tonight for their seasonal light displays.
