RHOA alum Peter Thomas sentenced to prison for tax fraud
ATLANTA - Peter Thomas, the former husband of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Cynthia Bailey, has been sentenced to 18 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to tax fraud. The sentence was handed down yesterday.
In addition to serving prison time, Thomas has been ordered to pay $2.5 million in restitution to the IRS. Following his release, he will be under supervised probation for two years.
An exact date for Thomas to report to prison has not yet been determined.
