Save Spalding Committee makes final plea to save elementary school from closing
SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. - In Fulton County, the "Save Spalding Committee" has delivered its final, comprehensive plea to keep Spalding Drive Elementary School from closing.
The committee presented its detailed report to the school board during a meeting last night, challenging the board’s closure plan and proposing alternative solutions.
The report includes three key recommendations:
- Postpone the closure decision.
- Adopt a holistic master plan for school facilities.
- Strengthen community engagement to better address stakeholders’ concerns.
