A suspect wanted for dragging a Georgia deputy is on the run after nearly being caught at a gas station Saturday morning.

Officials say on Saturday, April 27, officers tried to remove Samuel Brock from his car at a traffic checkpoint on Pickle Simon Road near the Barrow County Airport.

Brock sped off in his vehicle, dragging a deputy for a short while

Saturday, May 4, officers say they located Brock at a BP gas station on Charlie Davis Road, but that he was able to get a ride out of the area before being arrested.
