ATLANTA - Sen. Jon Ossoff and Fulton County Clerk of Superior and Magistrate Courts Ché Alexander discussed how the ongoing issues with the United States Postal Service at its Palmetto facility are impacting court proceedings.
During a press conference on Tuesday, Sen. Ossoff announced his initiative to prompt an inquiry by the USPS Inspector General into significant mail delays affecting residents statewide. This follows reports from Clerk Alexander detailing over 1,100 letters marked for return by USPS, some with original postmarks dating back years, received during the week of June 3.
