Sheriff: Inmate on the run after escaping work detail

HARALSON COUNTY, Ga. - Haralson County deputies are on the lookout for an inmate who escaped custody Monday morning.

Officials say Timothy "TJ" Seth Raines walked off while on a work detail in Tallapoosa, Georgia.

Police do not believe Raines is any danger to the community and say that he is a nonviolent offender.

Raines is described as being 6-feet-2-inches tall and 220 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
