Smyrna firefighter receives Do Good Hero award and check for charity
SMYRNA - Smyrna Fire Department engineer Jacob Moore was recently presented the Do Good Hero award from the National Life Group and received a check for $500 to donate to his favorite charity.
The award is a national award to recognize public safety personnel for their community service activities that go above and beyond their duty.
Moore plans to donate the $500 to Life Church Smyrna.
