Some conservatives outraged over Bradley Cooper attending DNC

Bradley Cooper's performance in American Sniper earned him a best actor Oscar nomination. The film was a hit, thanks in part to conservative moviegoers.

Many of them were not happy seeing him at the Democratic convention and vented their anger on Twitter.

One tweeted "repubs never thought #bradleycooper was anything but liberal. They r disappointed that his intricate study of kyle's life taught him nothing."

Cooper has never hidden the fact he’s a Democrat, according to the Wrap's Itay Hod.

"Two donations to Hillary Clinton, he's also been very active when it comes to gun control issues, signing a letter with another 98 big Hollywood names thanking President Obama for his executive order regarding gun control," said Hod.

Cooper played Chris Kyle, a legendary American Sniper and a well-known conservative.

"He was very adamant about his views, he wasn't very shy about his views. They looked up to Chris Kyle, so for them to see the man who played Chris Kyle at the Democratic National Convention supporting Hillary Clinton I think too much for people," said Hod.

But will this anger have any affect on Cooper’s career or the box office performance of his movies?

Hod says it isn't likely.

"I don't think it will hurt him in the long run, I think those things tend to go away after a while," said Hod.
