South Fulton police officer arrested for enticing a child
VILLA RICA, Ga. - A South Fulton police officer is on the other side of the law accused of enticing a child.
Villa Rica police began investigating last month after receiving a report Matthew Edwards had sent inappropriate text messages to an 11-year-old child.
Edwards was charged with enticing a child for indecent purposes, simple battery, and violation of oath of office.
He was booked into Carroll County jail.
