Stone Mountain Home Destroyed By Fire

STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. - Gwinnett County Firefighters responded to a call Sunday morning after a Stone Mountain mobile home caught fire.

According to fire officials, the flames started just before 6:15 am at the house on Stone Hill Drive. A witness called 911 and reported the fire was fully involved.

When firefighters arrived at the house, they used hand lines to put out the flames and did a search of the property to see if anyone was inside. They discovered no one was in the home at the time of the fire.

One firefighter on the scene was taken to the ER after receiving a minor injury.

The Gwinnett County Fire Department is investigating the cause.
