Man rescued from waters in Stone Mountain

Officials say a man was rescued from Barbashela Creek in Stone Mountain.

STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. - DeKalb County officials say they rescued a man from a body of water in Stone Mountain Saturday evening.

The man was pulled from Barbashela Creek along Redan Road.

He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

FOX 5 is working to learn more on how this happened. Officials have not released the identity of the victim.
