Stranded Sloth Rescued from Side of Highway

STORYFUL - A Facebook post from the Transport Commission of Ecuador showing a sloth stranded in the middle of a motorway was trending over the weekend on social media.
The post has more than 22,000 shares and 56,000 likes as of Wednesday morning.
The Transport Commission confirmed the sloth was checked by a vet and returned to its natural habitat. On Monday afternoon, the Facebook account shared new pictures of the adorable sloth hanging from a tree "happy in its habitat."
