Student accused of bringing gun to Parkview High School

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - A student at a Gwinnett County high school faces criminal charges after he allegedly brought a gun to school Thursday.

The principal at Parkview High School sent a letter to parents stating administrators received a tip that one student showed a gun to other students on campus.

School authorities later found the gun.

The student now faces a felony charge of having a weapon on campus and will also face school disciplinary action.
