BALTIMORE, Md. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Millennials can't seem to catch a break.
Turns out that the group is more likely to be arrested than the generation before them, even though they aren't committing as many crimes.
A new study by John Hopkins University found that over 50 percent of participants who were Generation X admitted to committing at least one offense, but only 10 percent had ever been arrested.
This compared to 15 percent of millennials who said they had broken the law, with 25 percent saying they had been arrested.
Researchers say the results show a negative impact on young people because of "zero-tolerance policing."
