Super speeder clocked at 109 on I-285 on New Year's Eve by Dunwoody police

Dunwoody police are urging drivers to prioritize safety after an officer clocked a vehicle traveling at an alarming speed on New Year's Eve.

According to police, the incident occurred around 9 a.m. on Interstate 285. Using a speed detector, an officer recorded a black car traveling at 109 miles per hour in a 65-mph zone.

The driver was stopped and arrested at the scene. Charges include speeding and reckless driving.

Police are reminding motorists of the dangers of excessive speed, emphasizing the importance of adhering to traffic laws to ensure safety for everyone on the road.
