Suspect Arrested In Dacula Double Shooting

DACULA, GA - Gwinnett County Police arrested a man Sunday after he reportedly shot two women in their shared Dacula home.

Officers stormed into the home in the Rolling View Way community Sunday.

According to Gwinnett Police, officers found the suspected shooter in the home's upstairs master bedroom and took him into custody.  He is believed to be in his early 20s. 

Investigators then found the two women hiding in the bathroom behind a locked door with gunshot wounds to their legs. 

Paramedics transported the victims, who are in their late 30s or early 40s, to Gwinnett Medical Center.  They are expected to survive. 

Police described the shooting as "a domestic related incident."  All three people involved live at the home.  They're now investigating what sparked the violence. 

Neighbors say the scene was tense.  The suspected shooter has not been identified.
