Suspects wanted in string of armed robberies arrested

Pair of suspects wanted in a string of armed robberies was booked in Cobb County.

Police said Lashumbia Session and Mykia Wilson held up the Family Dollar on Austell Road Monday, getting away with cash.

After learning of that robbery, Marietta Police and Smyrna Police came forward, saying they had similar crimes in their jurisdictions with similar suspect descriptions.

The three agencies came together to work the case.

Officers said they tracked Session and Wilson to a Walmart in South Georgia.

The two were reportedly trying to leave the state.

Police took them into custody and said Session and Wilson have been tied to at least four cases so far.
