ATLANTA - A 15-year-old boy was shot in the leg in a southwest Atlanta neighborhood on Sunday. It happened on Lisbon Drive SW.
The teen was taken to the hospital for treatment. He appeared to be alert, conscious and breathing.
Atlanta police believe the gun was accidentally discharged.
It's not clear whether the teen was in possession of the weapon or whether anyone will face any charges in the incident.
