T.I. gives away turkeys

T.I. gives turkeys and fresh veggies to grandparents raising children.

ATLANTA - A famous Atlanta musician shared more than his gift to some folks in southwest Atlanta.

Music artist T.I. joined Atlanta City Councilwoman Andrea L. Boone in giving away 800 turkeys to grandparents raising their grandchildren.

This is the event's 12th year.

Organizers said thanks to contributions from the community, they're able to give away fresh fruits and vegetables as well.
