Tanker truck fire halts traffic on I-75 in Henry County
HENRY COUNTY, Ga. - A tanker truck fire has shut down both northbound and southbound lanes of Interstate 75 in Henry County.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, the tanker fire has shut down the busy highway near mile marker 214, which is under the Bethlehem Road overpass.
A Georgia Department of Transportation camera in the area shows firefighters at the scene.
As of 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, one northbound lane of traffic has reopened.
There is no word on injuries.
It was not immediately clear when the interstate would reopen.
