Taylor Swift reacts to Simone Biles using 'Ready for It' during Olympic trials

Simone Biles secured a third trip to the Olympics after breezing to victory at the U.S. trials over the weekend, even earning a shoutout from Taylor Swift, whose song "...Ready For It?" opened the gymnast’s floor routine.
Biles, 27, placed first in the all-around competition at the 2024 US Olympic Gymnastics Trials on Sunday in Minneapolis, earning an overall score of 117.225. Suni Lee came in second with a score of 111.675, and Jordan Chiles was in third with 111.425.
Biles, the 2016 Olympic champion who pulled herself out of multiple finals at the 2020 Games in Tokyo to focus on her mental health, drew the attention of Swift while doing the floor exercise – her signature event.
Swift’s song was featured at the beginning of her routine, performing a triple-double – described as "the hardest tumbling pass in the world" by a commentator.
"Watched this so many times and still unready. She’s ready for it tho," Swift wrote on X on Saturday in response to a video posted by the NBC Olympics & Paralympics account.
‘Nobody’s forcing me to do it’
Biles, at 27, is the oldest American woman to make an Olympic gymnastics team since the 1950s.
She never expected to still be doing this nearly a decade after becoming a crossover sensation at the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro.
"Nobody’s forcing me to do it," Biles said, after claiming all-around by nearly six points over Lee. "I wake up every day and choose to grind in the gym and come out here and perform for myself. Just to remind myself that I can still do it."
A trip to France has never really been in doubt since Biles returned from a two-year break last summer. Over the last 12 months, she has won a sixth world all-around title and captured her eighth and ninth national championships — both records — while doing the hardest gymnastics of her life.
The Americans will take their oldest women's team ever to Paris, including Jade Carey (24), Chiles (23) and Lee (21). Newcomer Hezly Rivera, 16, also joined the team. Joscelyn Roberson, 18, and Leanne Wong, 20, were named the replacement athletes.
