Teen killed, 2 teens injured in Bartow County car wreck

BARTOW COUNTY, Ga. - A teen was killed and two others injured in a car wreck in Bartow County Friday morning. 

The accident happened just before 8:30 a.m. on Old Grassdale Road. 

Georgia State Patrol said three teens were in a 2005 Toyota Corolla traveling southbound when the driver, a 16-year-old male, lost control of the vehicle, ran off the road and struck a house. 

The front seat passenger, Christian Austin, 16, of Cartersville, died in the wreck. The driver and back seat passenger, Christopher Cunningham, 15, of Cartersville, were taken to Cartersville Medical Center. No word yet on their condition. 

GSP is investigating the scene and said charges are pending.
