Three injured in crash along I-285 near I-20 in DeKalb County

ATLANTA - Three people were rushed to the hospital Monday afternoon after four cars and three tractor-trailers get tangled up in a massive crash along Interstate 285.

It happened along I-285 northbound just before Interstate 20 around 3 p.m. DeKalb County Police said three people were rushed to the hospital, one which was in critical condition and the other two with moderate to serious injuries.

SKYFOX 5 flew over the scene around 4 p.m. and spotted at least two tractor-trailers into the median wall and a car which appeared to be burned out. There was debris scatted across the roadway.

Police said all lanes of traffic blocked for about two hours.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
