TMZ: NBA Youngboy officially charged in Atlanta drug arrest
ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Rapper NBA Youngboy has been officially charged in a case stemming from his arrest in Atlanta back in February, TMZ is reporting.
The rapper, whose real name is Kenneth Gaulden, is charged with possession of less than an ounces of marijuana and disorderly conduct.
That incident happened at the Hyatt House located on the 400 block of Marietta Street in downtown Atlanta.
Police said it started when the housekeeper, believing no one was inside and not hearing a response to knocks, entered the room to clean. Police said Gaulden told Thigpen to get the staff out of the room.
Investigators said Thigpen struck on the housekeepers in the face. The altercation continued into the hallway before police said the employee was able to run downstairs.
Gaulden and Thigpen were outside in the hallway when police arrived.
