ATLANTA - A woman has been rushed to the hospital after a shooting outside an Atlanta adult boutique early Tuesday morning.
Officials tell FOX 5 the shooting happened around 6 a.m. near the Tokyo Valentino store on the 1700 block of Cheshire Bridge Road.
Atlanta police have confirmed that a woman was found shot at the scene. Medics rushed her to a local hospital, where at last report she is alert and conscious.
According to investigators, the shooting stemmed from a dispute between the victim and two men earlier that escalated into her using pepper spray on them. At the time, the woman contacted police and made a report.
Later, police say the woman saw the two men again and told them she had called 911. While she was driving away, she says the two men fired at her multiple times, hitting her at least once.
Police have not released the identities of the victim or the two men.
