Train Hits Dump Truck, Kills Driver

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - DeKalb County police and firefighters are investigating a deadly accident involving a train and a dump truck.

The crash happened after 7:30 a.m. in the 1300 block of Fleetwood Drive.

DeKalb County Fire and Rescue Captain Eric Jackson said the driver of the dump truck was thrown from the vehicle and killed. No other injuries were reported.

Constitution Road near Fayetteville Road was shut down following the crash.

The name of the dump truck driver has not been released.
