Truck hits historic covered bridge again
COBB COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - It's becoming a frequent occurrence in Cobb County.
In fact, it happens so often, Cobb County officials have coined it “The U-Haul Driver Hall of Shame."
And another driver joined the club Monday afternoon.
This is the third time the Historic Concord Covered Bridge has been hit by a truck this year.
The names of those involved were not released. There were no reports of any injuries.
More than a year ago, Cobb County spent $800,000 restoring the bridge.
There are plenty of signs, even flashing lights to warn drivers, but the hits just keep coming.
