"I'm very excited. I'm wrapping up at UGA. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity," said Hailey Clark, a UGA senior from Oconee County, who flew out of Hartsfield-Jackson Tuesday afternoon.  "Seventy-five years ago they got to go out and now I'm getting to go back to L.A., which [is] a city I love and [I] love the Dawgs."

Clark worked at the University of Southern California over the summer and looks forward to reconnecting with the city and representing the red and black. She plans to visit the Hollywood sign, Disneyland, and downtown L.A. during her trip.

"I'm sure we'll be calling the Dawgs throughout L.A.," she said.

Clark believes the game between the Bulldogs and the Sooners will be exciting and high-scoring, but she is hopeful that the Dawgs will come out on top.

"I already have a student ticket to the National Championship, so if we go I'm set. I won't be missing school, but I'll probably be really tired on the Tuesday coming back. But for sure, [I'm] not going to miss that," Clark explained.  "I'll probably be able to tell my kids like, 'Oh yeah, my senior year was the championship year. Like, this is what the championship ring looked like.'  Because my dad still talks about the last time that Herschel Walker played and they were in the championship."
