UGA Lacrosse player released from hospital after being shot and robbed
ATHENS, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - The UGA Lacrosse player who was shot while was sitting at a bus stop on South Milledge Avenue, was released from the hospital Sunday.
The victim, Tate Prezzano was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Tate's father, sent a Tweet Sunday saying Tate was discharged from the hospital and thanked everyone for their prayers and support.
Prezzano’s UGA Lacrosse coach described him as the kind of player who’ll show up first and leave last. That is why it was not "practice as usual" Monday afternoon.
Police arrested a man suspected of shooting a University of Georgia student Monday near the university's campus in Athens.
