An Iraq war veteran, who suffers from PTSD, is asking for the public's help to find her service dog.

"Leo," a Golden Retriever/Chow mix,  was being cared for by friends at Lower Sherman Island near Antioch over the weekend.

He disappeared around 6 pm on July 3rd. It is believed he may have run off due to the sound of fireworks in the distance because he is trained to be alert to the sound of explosives.

Leo is 4-years-old, has long reddish hair, a black snout, a patch of white fur on his chest, extra de-claws on his hind legs, and black spots on his tongue.

He was wearing a black collar with  military camouflage plated tags. He is micro-chipped and hates swimming in water.

Anyone who has seen Leo is asked to respond to this craigslist post.
