Victim in 'stable condition' following Lindbergh apartment shooting

ATLANTA - A 56-year-old man was hospitalized after being shot Friday evening in the Lindbergh neighborhood apartment, according to the Atlanta Police Department.
Officers responded to the scene at 707 Taylor Court NE at approximately 6:38 p.m. Upon arrival, they found the victim with a gunshot wound to his left leg. Authorities said the man was in "stable condition" and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Investigators with the department’s Aggravated Assault Unit arrived at the location to begin examining the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
