Victim in 'stable condition' following shooting near Lindbergh apartments

ATLANTA - A 56-year-old man was hospitalized after being shot Friday evening near a Lindbergh neighborhood apartment, according to the Atlanta Police Department.
Officers responded to the scene in the 700 block of Taylor Court NE at approximately 6:38 p.m. Upon arrival, they found the victim with a gunshot wound to his left leg. Authorities said the man was in "stable condition" and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Investigators with the department’s Aggravated Assault Unit arrived at the location to begin examining the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
