Police are investigating a double murder in the normally quiet neighborhood of Norwood Manor in southeast Atlanta.

Officers investigating a report of shots fired discovered the bodies of two men inside a house on Lewis Road at Knox Drive. Both had been shot repeatedly.

Police have identified shooting victims as 40-year-old Tavarius Robinson and 38-year-old Dante Sutton.

Family members told FOX 5's Aungelique Proctor the men were best friends and not the type to carry guns or be violent.

Investigators do not believe the victims shot each other. They have not determined a motive for the killings.

Police said they recovered a small amount of marijuana at the scene.
