VIDEO: Teens ram police cars during high speed chase

Two teens are facing numerous charges after leading police on a high speed chase. Fayetteville Police said it happened Labor Day morning. A witness allegedly spotted 19-year-old Jontavious Frisco and a juvenile trying to get into cars.

“The witness called in with the information to our 911 dispatch. Our officers were able to get their quickly. They saw the vehicle and attempted to make a traffic stop,” Lt. Mike Whitlow said.

But the teens didn't stop. Police said at one point Frisco was going nearly 120 mph.

“The chase went on through a short neighborhood then got onto highway 92 then proceeded south,” Whitlow said.

Police said Frisco tried to ram police cars, hitting one. Then police said the teens nearly hit another vehicle head on. Luckily, no one was injured.

“It ended after many dangerous moments,” Whitlow said.

The chase ended when the suspects hit a subdivision sign.

“We were able to immediately clear another case from earlier that day that they had been involved in. We're investigating to see if there are any other cases they're involved in. Other jurisdictions are also investigating them as possible suspects in entering auto cases,” Whitlow said.
