A man accused of shooting another man to death Sunday evening outside a Snellville Walmart appeared in court on Tuesday.

According to police, Troy Hunte and his fiancee got into an argument with Fadil Delkic in the parking lot of the Walmart at 1550 Scenic Highway. Police said Hunte fired a single shot from a semi-automatic handgun, hitting Delkic in the chest.

Hunte is charged with voluntary manslaughter.

The victim’s friends told FOX 5’s Aungelique Proctor Delkic came to the U.S. for a better life after surviving concentration camps in Bosnia.

Officials said Hunte did not receive because he's considered a danger to his community.
