Atlanta police respond to two shootings miles apart

ATLANTA - Police are investigating what led to a woman being shot near a busy area of Midtown.
Police found a woman shot in the leg after 1 a.m. near Spring Street and 8th Street.
Police said she was in her car when police arrived.
Police did not provide details on a suspect or the extent of the woman's injuries.
The intersection is near The Plaza Midtown.
Police believe the woman and a man were in an argument before gunfire erupted.
