Woman indicted for stabbing 90-year-old man to death in Buckhead

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - A grand jury has indicted 65-year-old Janet Williams for the murder of a 90-year-old man who was stabbed repeatedly at a residence on Sidney Marcus Boulevard NE on Sept. 24.

The man's unresponsive body was discovered at approximately 7:48 a.m. by police. Medics who also responded to the scene pronounced him deceased.

The murder occurred inside Marian Road Highrise, a senior citizen housing facility owned by the Atlanta Housing Authority.

Williams has also been charged with aggravated assault and the exploitation and intimidation of an elderly person.
