Woman shot during carjacking; suspects connected to grandmother's murder
ATLANTA - A violent carjacking left a woman injured and begging for help.
It happened early Monday morning at a gas station on Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard.
According to the store manager, the woman was leaving the gas station when a man shot her in the leg.
Surveillance video showed him grabbing something off the floor before taking off with her car.
The manager said the victim was a regular customer and seeing her attacked so violently left him shaken.

And if that shooting weren't enough, Atlanta Police said they have linked the gun used in the carjacking to the August 12th shooting death of Beverly Jenkins.
Jenkins, who was 49, had just wrapped up a late shift at a homeless shelter.
Police have arrested Adarius Jones in connection with the crime.
They are still looking for 18-year-old Khalid Bays.
