Woman shot in attempted CVS carjacking Saturday morning

ATLANTA - Atlanta investigators are learning more about a shooting that put a 48-year-old woman in the hospital Saturday morning.

Officials found the victim on Dianne Court SE at 10:41 a.m. An investigation revealed she had been shot during an attempted carjacking at the CVS located at 1455 Moreland Avenue SE.

The woman was taken to the hospital to recover.

The investigation is ongoing.
