Woman struck by car on I-85 access road

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - A woman was hit by a car after a crash on northbound Interstate 85 Tuesday morning

It happened around 7 a.m. in between Clairmont and Shallowford roads in DeKalb County.

The woman left the crash scene and was hit on the access road.

Medics rushed her to the hospital, but they expect her to survive.

Police said the driver stayed on the scene.

The names of those involved have not yet been released.
