Women arrested, accused of posing as dentist without license

COBB COUNTY, Ga. - Cobb County Police arrested a woman who they said worked as a dentist without a license.

Investigators said Krista Szewczyk performed dental work on at least 18 patients.

In one case, officers said she sent a man to the hospital with a massive abscess in his throat.

She reportedly performed the procedures at a building on Roswell Street in Marietta.

Szewczyk now faces nearly 50 charges including practicing without a license and insurance fraud.
