Young woman stabbed to death in Norcross-area apartment, police seek suspect
The Gwinnett County Police Department is investigating a deadly stabbing on Hunters Club Lane in unincorporated Norcross.
GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - A woman was found stabbed to death inside an apartment just outside of Norcross, according to the Gwinnett County Police Department. Police are still searching for the attacker.
Officers were called out at around 6 p.m. to the 1200 block of Hunters Club Lane. Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of a woman in her 20s, who had sustained at least one stab wound, according to police spokesperson Cpl. Juan Madiedo.

"She was beyond any assistance once officers arrived on the scene," said Madiedo. "The investigation is still preliminary, but all indications right now point to a domestic-related incident between the deceased female and a known occupant of the apartment, at least at one point."
Homicide detectives and the Gwinnett County crime scene unit secured the scene and began gathering evidence and conducting interviews. The Gwinnett County Medical Examiner's Office was also called to assist in the investigation.

When asked about potential suspects, Madiedo said, "The suspect has not been detained. Investigators are still trying to make contact with that individual." He reassured the public that this appeared to be an isolated incident, adding, "The public does not need to feel in danger right now."
