Sam Daniel is a Digital Content Creator at FOX 5. Sam brings 4 years of television and digital experience to Atlanta.
Sam received a journalism degree from the University of Georgia. After graduating, he went home to Knoxville, Tennessee, where he worked for WBIR-TV as a multi-platform producer. He later worked for WHAS11 in Louisville, Kentucky, where he covered the arrests of multiple Louisville police officers for the killing of Breonna Taylor, and he produced 8 hours of coverage on destructive tornadoes in Western Kentucky.
Sam took a short break from news to teach middle school journalism and looks forward to covering the education systems around North Georgia.
When he’s not working in the newsroom, Sam loves exploring all the sites that Atlanta offers, and trying out the latest restaurants.
