Tara Jabour joined the FOX 5 Atlanta news team in January 2026. Prior to coming to Atlanta, she worked as a news reporter at WBNS-TV in Columbus, Ohio, where she and her colleagues earned a National Edward R. Murrow Award for their coverage of a deadly bus crash on a major interstate.
In Columbus, Tara reported on a wide range of stories, from crime and public safety to statehouse and food insecurity issues. She also previously worked at WCIV in Charleston, South Carolina, where she provided extensive coverage of the six-week double murder trial of Alex Murdaugh.
Tara began her journalism career at WTOV 9 in Steubenville, Ohio.
Originally from Wooster, Ohio, Tara enjoys cooking, trying new restaurants, walking 10,000 steps a day, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
