ATHENS, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Athens ranks high when comes to best college football towns in the country.

According to new rankings from Sports Illustrated, Athens ranks high on the list because of the number of bars and restaurants. And the fact that it's home to a growing craft brewery scene with an already established great music scene.

Only Madison, Wisconsin ranks higher than Athens.

Austin, Texas, Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Columbia, Missouri round out the top five.
