ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Major improvements are well underway, at a park on Atlanta’s Westside thanks to the Atlanta Super Bowl Host Committee.
FOX 5 Atlanta got a firsthand look at the construction progress at John F. Kennedy Park Tuesday.
The improvements are part of the Legacy 53 initiative, an effort to better the metro Atlanta area as the city prepares to host Super Bowl LIII.
Officials say the park will be open to the public the week of the super bowl.
