Former linebacker finds career as NASCAR pit crew star

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Dion Williams is used to pressure. The former Lakeside (DeKalb) High School and Wake Forest linebacker played football on big stages, but now enjoys an entirely different type of challenge. Williams has spent the last decade-plus working on NASCAR pit crews; this year as a front tire carrier on Chase Elliott's #24 Sprint Cup car team.
