CARTERSVILLE, Ga. - The recipient of the most coveted award from the High 5 Sports team has been announced.

The Cartersville Purple Hurricanes are this year’s High 5 Sports Team of the Year.

The State AAAA Champions after knocking off Buford in the title game last week.

Head Coach Joey King said he was excited and happy. And we look forward to celebrating with a trophy presentation for the 'Canes very soon.

They ended their state championship season 15-0.
