This week HIGH 5 sports got Fayette County Tigers Coach Mike Davis to get Mic’D Up as his team battled the Mustangs of Morrow.

"Last week, you're already setting the bar. You understand me. We will not lower the bar tonight. No matter who we play, where we play or how we play, we're going to represent. You know what you got to do to get to where we talked about from the beginning of the season," Coach Davis told his team before the game.

His team began and would not quick, like Coach Davis’ coaching of the players from the sideline. The Tigers dominated the first quarter, running in two unanswered touchdowns.

“Good job right there. Come on, let’s go,” Coach Davis encouraged his team.

Tiger doubled their lead as they headed into the locker room for the half.

"Y'all look like a team ready for the playoffs. Good job," said Coach Davis.

"We can't go out sweet walking. You understand what I'm telling you?" said Coach Davis. "Put your foot down and take care of business..."

The Tigers were just too fast for the Mustangs. The final score was 35-0.

"You guys are young, but you stay together. Make a change. It starts with y'all," said Coach Davis as the end of the game. "I talk to these guys all the time about about not being selfish and playing ttogether as a team and no matter what nobody say outside nobody's been through what you been through/. But stay together. Y'all are young. Stay together. Okay? And make it happen!"

Coach Davis and his young men have a lot to be proud of this season. It could be their first winning seasonsince 2007 if they can keep some momentum going into their final two games. Fayette County goes on to play two tough AAAAA Region 3 teams to close out there season. Number 2 ranked Whitewater (3-1) and Starr's Mill (3-1).
