Oregon becomes 1st state to decriminalize hard drugs

The Oregon drug initiative will allow people arrested with small amounts of hard drugs to avoid going to trial, and possible jail time, by paying a $100 fine and attending an addiction recovery program.

Loeffler, Warnock head to runoff election for U.S. Senate

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden spent Election Day campaigning in his hometown of Scranton. He also made a stop in Philadelphia before heading back to Wilmington where he is expected to speak Tuesday night.

Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Republican businesswoman known to have peddled in racist tropes and baseless QAnon conspiracy theories, has been formally voted in to represent Georgia’s 14th Congressional District on Tuesday.
