A veteran of dozens of civil rights marches herself, she points to legislation she sponsored to pay for mammogram and prostate exams and to extend Medicaid for new mothers from two months to six.

FOX 5 caught up with Kwanza Hall after the March on Washington about his running for U.S. House District 5. Hall served more than 10 years on the Atlanta City Council and ran for mayor in 2017. He came down with COVID-19 in early July and feared for his life, prompting him to call on everyone to take the pandemic seriously and wear a mask in public.

Chase Oliver is the chair of the Libertarian Party in Atlanta running for U.S. House District 5. He says the cash bail system discriminates against the poor and he opposes qualified immunity, which protects law enforcement and government officials from being sued. Oliver is of course aware that a majority of voters in the 5th district are Democrats.
